Jedah Nyaboe Ogweno is an Economist with the World Bank’s Governance Global Practice in Washington, DC, specializing in subnational finance and governance. Her work focuses on strengthening fiscal systems and governance frameworks.

Previously, Dr. Nyaboe contributed to fiscal federalism and public financial management (PFM) reforms in Pakistan and supported domestic revenue mobilization initiatives in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Prior to joining the World Bank, she served as an Economist at Kenya’s National Treasury and as a tax advisor in the private sector.

Nyaboe holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Université d’Orléans (France), an M.A. in Economics from the University of Botswana, and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Kenyatta University. She is also a Certified Public Accountant (Kenya).
