Shuvaloy Majumdar, often known as Shuv, is a Canadian politician and foreign policy expert. Born in Calgary to Indian immigrant parents, he has dedicated over two decades to advancing freedom and security in Canada and globally. He was elected as the Member of Parliament for Calgary Heritage in a 2023 by-election, succeeding Bob Benzen.

Majumdar attended the University of Calgary, where he became friends with Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre. He began his political career working for Preston Manning at the Manning Centre for Building Democracy, later serving as a ministerial staffer for International Trade Minister Bev Oda and as policy director to Foreign Minister John Baird.

From 2006 to 2010, he worked for the International Republican Institute, supporting democratic reformers in Iraq and Afghanistan, and served as a visiting foreign policy scholar at the Liu Institute for Global Issues at the University of British Columbia. He was also a Munk Senior Fellow with the Macdonald-Laurier Institute, focusing on foreign policy and national security issues, and worked as Global Director at Harper & Associates, the consulting firm of former Prime Minister Stephen Harper.

Since his election in 2023, Majumdar has been an active member of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and International Development, the Subcommittee on International Human Rights, and the Standing Committee on Access to Information, Privacy and Ethics. He previously served on the Standing Committee on Public Health.
